Methuen Credit Union is seeking a well-rounded individual excited to have the opportunity to have a wide variety of responsibilities. Duties will include, but no limited to, performing daily transactions accurately and efficiently with a friendly and courteous demeanor, balancing daily work, explaining credit union products and services to members, achieve individual sale goals, and provide accounting and operational help as needed. This position comes with endless opportunity to learn and gain versatile experience in many areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily transactions accurately and efficiently with a friendly and courteous demeanor
- Balance daily work
- Explain credit union products and services to members
- Achieve individual sale goals
- Open new memberships and new accounts for existing credit union members
- Adhere to all MFCU policies and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior work history at a financial institution
- Excellent verbal communication skills, knowledge of a second language is a plus (Spanish speaking preferred)
- Good PC skills
- Detailed oriented, capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get a task done well
- Flexibility with hours, during our normal operating hours
