Book Drive a Wonderful Success

The Book Drive was a tremendous success, with a final total of 240 books donated. Contributions included a variety of children’s books, coloring and activity books, and even a classroom-style wall decoration pack featuring a large tree and owls.

We are continually amazed by the generosity of our members whenever we announce these collection events. Their support makes it possible for us to place books directly into the hands of children, encouraging a love of reading and learning.

One of the best parts of this program is that the books are freely given to the children to enjoy. If they return to exchange a book for another, that’s wonderful. If they choose to keep and reread their favorites again and again, that’s wonderful too. The Center experiences no loss, and the children gain the joy of reading, making this program a perfect success for everyone involved.

Thank you to all who donated and helped make this year’s Book Drive so meaningful.

Volunteering at the Credit for Life Fair at Methuen High School

Methuen Credit Union team members had the privilege of volunteering at the Credit for Life Fair at Methuen High School. During the event, more than 400 seniors gained hands-on experience with real-world financial literacy skills. Each student selected a career, calculated a monthly budget, and navigated their financial future by making a series of practical financial decisions. Volunteers offered guidance and feedback to help students effectively manage their budgets and set themselves up for success.

A Heartfelt Thank You for Supporting Our Holiday Food Drive

Methuen Credit Union extends its deepest gratitude to our incredible members, dedicated staff, and committed Board of Directors for making this year’s Holiday Food Drive an overwhelming success.

Thanks to your generosity, compassion, and community spirit, we collected an impressive amount of food and essential items that will directly support families in need right here in our Methuen community. During a season when many struggle to provide the basics, your kindness will help bring comfort, nourishment, and hope to local households.

From all of us at Methuen Credit Union: THANK YOU for helping us lift up our neighbors and strengthen the community we proudly serve.

Methuen Credit Union Celebrates City of Methuen Day!

We had an amazing time participating in the City of Methuen Day! It was wonderful to see so many of our members and connect with new faces in the community. From the lively music and delicious food to the fun activities, it was a day filled with laughter and excitement.

We truly enjoyed chatting with our members outside the branch, hearing their stories, and sharing more about how we’re here to support their financial goals. Events like these remind us of the strong community we’re proud to be a part of. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello!

We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration and the opportunity to continue building lasting relationships in our Methuen community. See you at the next event!
